2002 Virage TXI
Ok, my cylinder just got bored 10 over by sharps marine...
Should be back Wed.
So I have a few questions:
The Cylinder was starved from lubrication, according to Jay...
I know i was having some oil lines leaking as of which i just replaced. but i need to make sure of the following:
1.) Is there a way to make sure the oil is pumping correctly?
2.) Since I replaced the lines I'm replacing with New Polaris Synthetic Oil, how can I bleed the lines?
3.)When my parts come in on Wed, I will need to torque specs for the cylinder, head etc. Is there a way to find them?
4.) Once all is back and ready to start, do I need to do anything to the new cylinder & picton to make sure that it is lubed prior to starting?

but on number 4 make sure you break the motor in. and what i do is take 2 stroke oil and lube the rings and piston sides.. and the cylinder and slide it on.. then i lube the top of the rings a bit once its all put together and crank it to make sure all is good boving up and down..

ok, i'll look for the specs, i think i found them... I just need to make sure the right bolt size with the and the mm equivalant matches!
I still haven't found the bleeding of the oil system, but i did see something about the mark of where the position should be at idling and to use a mirror to make sure it is set properly. so I will make sure!
i will go ahead and lube al the parts during my assembly process, thanks for the tip!
