Does anyone have any idea why a wear ring would keep wearing out quickly, i am not getting anything stuck or sucked up as far as i know, but after like 4hrs i am already cavitating with the new ring. i was turning 8050 rpms with 14/19r, grate, power filter and holes filled, i think if i had a new ring i would be much faster.
if i put a stainless ring in there what will happen if i suck something up, will it explode my pump housing?? do these wear at all, it seamed when i installed the new ring and impeller the impeller would only contact the ring at certain points when i spun it around...

engine could be out of alingment...might be the time for a new front motor mount. or ur pump bearing could be shot. take off the tial cone and see whats in there.
if you put a ss wear ring in there instead of buying new wear rings you'll be buying new props!

My best guess is your pump bearing is shot.

If your worried about wear rings... change your bearings. In competition you need to change the bearings every twenty hrs.

Should i replace the oe bearings for 90$ each or just get the tripple bearing and stronger shaft done...
