    im confused about the catch can install

    ok i see others building there catch can.i have a 2005 rxt and was wondering where to install it? also i see it gets attached to a hose but on the catch can theres only 1 inlet.what do you do with the other end of the hose that you disconnected>?

    does anyone have clear pics to help me out how theres is installed..
    i understand what it does by reading up on it just not sure about the install...

    also would i need a catch can?

    stage 1 kit
    and im looking to do the riva waterbox
    and if i dont need one when would i need one what mods makes others install one?

    The Riva power filter in your stage 1 kit has a provision for your crank case vent hose to attach to.

    If you use a Riva rear air intake, Fizzle air intake, or home made type of air intake system then you don't have a provision for your crankcase vent hose to attach. Then you will want a catch can to vent the engine thru.

    i have the riva stage 1 kit with the riva intake it has a hook up where i had to put a hose on it.so what your saying is i dont need a catch can then?

    That's correct. You don't need a catch can.

    I thought a catch can stopped the crap from going into your supercharger? Shouldn't we all use one?

    it does stop that from happening all you have to do is disconnect the hose from the air intake and plug it into the catch can thats its very easy

    I agree. It's the easiest thing you can do. I made mine with pieces from Home Depot.
