    Can a single engine exciter pull up a skier?

    Hi;
    I'm looking at an yamaha exciter for sale locally. The boat looks pretty good, but it is a single engine model (1999). Will that have the power to pull up a slalom skier who is 175lbs, old, and not in the best of shape (me)?

    Sure! It's not nearly as quick as the twin-engine models, but it will certainly pull a skier. I've pulled a slalom skier with a 32 HP WR 500 Waverunner. Yamaha used to have a video tape at their dealers showing the 135 pulling skiers.

    install swrill prop and mod intake grate (cut 3/4 in off rear ramp keep same angle)
    I had a single engine and after years of playing with pump that was best setup (also had AAT on it)
