(new here)2006 RXT
hey everyone, been checkin out the sight for a while but my first time posting
my ski was flawless for the first month , i broke it in gently and everything was fine until an exhaust sensor fouled out and ever since then my ski hasnt been the same. one weekend it is fine, the next week its really sluggish. it sometimes sputters while at full throttle and doesnt stop till i let off the gas and then its fine. i brought it to the dealer and they changed the fuel pump but that didnt seem to fix anything. i found this site right after that and started thinking my problem was the clutch/supercharger. i even filled my rideplate holes and trimed my reverse bucket last week....67mph on glass .....then i get on my ski this weekend and i cant get to 50mph at 6600 rpm.
so i guess the point of all this is to see what yall think is the problem. i contacted the dealer about a month ago and they said they would order a whole new cluch/supercharger since it was easier to change then rebuild, but its on back order. hopefully thats my problem, if not im stumped.

sounds like your supercharger... do a board search on metal washers... i'd probably just do that instead
now keep this in mind... dont let ur dealer give you a run around BS story... if the ceramic disks are missing off the supercharger shaft, the motor NEEDS to be taken apart and cleaned out.
and don't forget that you have a warranty so not a penny should come out of ur pocket... sounds a little hokey to me that BRP would willing give your dealer a brand new complete supercharger instead of rebuilding the one you have...

i even asked the guy if he would install the metal washers if i bought them and do the rebuild as warrenty work since i had the fealing that the ceramics were slippin. the guy pretty much said it was too much trouble and he would just get a whole new clutch/sc.....that was over a month ago and now i think the ceramics are gone so now instead of a swoppin of washers, now he is gonna have to tear down the whole thing i guess......which brings me back to square one cause the new sc will have the ceramics

so then let them clean out the motor and give you a new supercharger all done up.... you are in Louisiana and so is GreenHulk.... have him install the metal washers in your supercharger for you and u'll never have to worry about removing the motor again due to failure.
