    3-4 place trailers

Looking at a demo triton wcIv 2006 and a load rite 4 place trailer. anyone have any input on preferences. alum vs galvanized steel.

also has anyone converted a 4 place to a 3 place? Seams like it would tow better with the front ski in the center. I have three skis now. 2 Honda F15x and an rxtx 260.

I have a double load rite now and although it tows great it seams a little light duty for two big skis. I don't want to travel with a maxed out trailer. The shadow trailers are nice but custom price is real high.

are you using this in fresh or salt water? If salt water dont go with steel.

There is probably little difference in towing with having the third PWC on one side vs in the center. Put the heaviest PWC on the single side, of course.

Other members have installed a large cargo box in the forth PWC position, and used it to hold all their gear. That would also bring the side to side weight difference closer.

The cracked welds scare me, why would that happen I have aluminum mountain bikes and the welds don't crack. I know I push them hard too. The tool box idea is a good idea . I have the opportunity the buy a demo triton for 4500.00 or a new load rite for 4,000.00. Triton list for 6,000.00 plus this one has the optional surge disk brakes on both axels. Torsion suspension. The loadstar has leaf springs and standard brakes, galvanized, new, 5000# load capacity verses # 4200 for the triton.

Any info on the load rite?

The triton is two years old maybe three. I was told it was new and only used to display skis at shows. I'm looking at it tomorrow. I'm interested in anyone selling a similar trailer.
