    dumb noobie tube question

Ok here it is......I have a 2004 800xlt and would like to know how I hook up a ski robe for tubing? I know there is a loop on the back but....? Seadoos have the same loop but there is a finger in the middle to hold the loop of the rope.
thanks and sorry for the dumb question..

can't you just hook up a clip to the rope? Like one of those climbing clip things (can't remember what they are called).

A carabiner is what you're thinking of.

that is what I was thinking of but I wasn't sure they would be strong enough or if they would damage the ski.
    Thanks for the reply

If you have a quick connect on the tube disconnect it. Put the opposite loop end of the rope through the u-bolt. Put the "tube-end" of the rope through this loop and pull the whole length of the rope through until tight. Re-affix the quick connect and pull all day with no worries.
