    External IC and RPMs

Added a external IC and finally got it in the water today. Noticed it idles at 1900-2000 instead of 1700-1800. Should I go and adjust the linkage? Its not a big deal to do it Im just wondering if I should be worried?

Also I wanted to add that the new Riva ride plate kicks major ass.

have you had the throttle body off, sounds like a small airleak, make sure you silicone the intercooler blockoff it could be leaking too

When I first installed my XS I blew out 2 of the three taps in the blockoff and idled @ 3000rpm. It doesn't sound like you have that much of a leak but I would check the block off and make sure it's sealed.

Get some starting fluid or carb cleaner and spray the ic block off. If the idle changes you've found the vac leak.

There is also a good chance that you moved the throttle cable some when getting the old IC out the manifold, I have had this speed my idle up before now. Check for leaks and see if adjusting the throttle fixes it, if its not the throttle your idle will still be high if u do have a leak. R88

like normal (in my world) go to check it today and rev's are back to normal. Must have been the cable (my guess)
