    Santa has come early!!

    Looky what turned up today

Been playing around with the datalogging and settings all night and cant get enough of it.

Absolutely love being able to see every sensor and adjust everything and anything!!

This thing is the ducks nuts

Just waiting for some injector spacers now before hitting the water.

How many other guys out there are using Motec?

It takes a few hours to get used to it but once you know how it all works it is easy as.

I was a bit worried about spending 6k on something i know nothing about at all but after a few hours on it im confident enough to start some tuning myself.

It is worth talking to someone that has done it before and explain what to look for etc but after that you catch on pretty quick.

Some of the fuel tables etc are really good.

This is a very basic description on how the fueling works.

What you do is write up a table with all your target AFR's that you want to set for example at 9000 RPM and 270 KPA i want to be running 11.5 AFR.

What you then do is with a really rich table to start with is go out and do a run and you can come back and type in what the actual AFR was at 9000 RPM and 270 KPA and it will automatically work out how much fuel it needs to take out at that certain point and so on with all the other points.

This is hard to explain with out showing you but im sure who ever you buy one from will take you through the program and explain it well.

The most important thing IMO you get with Motec is the support

Wow man, very nice and clean looking.

On the back housing is that just a heat exchanger or is that a custom waterjacket or something?
