    160mm prop and liner help

    just went to put my 160 mm skat prop on,and it bottomed out on the pump.is there supposed to be a spacer or something i am missing.i put my old skat 155mm prop back on and it is fine. any ideas?

    I did not put my 160 prop and pump together, but there is a spacer. SKAT says you can run without it. But the people that put my prop together said you need it.

    Make sure it's not stuck-up inside the back side of the 155mm prop.

    My 160mm setup used the spacer just like the 155mm setup. Don't forget about the new and improved gold spacer that's recommended.

    Can't help you there, I don't use a Yamaha pump

    I had to have mine machined to get it to fit.
    I was scared to hammer it in place.
    There was no way it would have fit the way it was.
    Once They were together there was a gap between them like the liner was to long. I had that machined as well and now they mate up perfectly.
