    1211 needed?????

    I'm wondering should I use 1211 while put the reed cages back?

    The manual doesn't mention to use anything.

    What do you guys do, with or without 1211?

    Thin layer helps prevent an air leak.

    I always ran a thin layer on my stock reeds..

    Yeah, I agree!

    If you follow the tighten sequence as manual stated (from center out), you shouldn't have any problem (I did before and the ski ran well. no lean runaway problem)

    But I ended up to put small 1211 beads outside of the factory rubber gaskets on both sides of the reed cage.

    Even the fatory gaskets look good, pliable, I think this is extra step to have peace of mind
