To Free Flow Or Not to Free Flow that is the poll!!

You can see my signature assuming the ski is tunned correct and i am running 92octane fuel should I stay safe with the free flow or go back to the stock SS? Sound is not the issue (its not loud at all) speed is the issue! (and reliability)

    Thanks!

IF ITS TO LOUD YOUR TO OLD!

To free flow or to not free flow can't be determined by a vote of forum members. Certain boats need the free-flow and some don't.

Do you want it loud or not and how much is it going to hurt top speed if you dont need it is the question.

If your looking for a vote of who likes loud ski's - then you have my vote.

ok now that you re-wrote the question. Yes you would be better off with the SS in (for top speed).

well it all depends on what type of free flow it is. There is an R&D that is a metal pipe, there is a Riva Blue Flex Hose that they use and there are those that use PVC Pipe too. All sing a different tune. Ported motors are louder than stock motors by default anyway.

The metal tube seems to be the loudest (especially with a modified motor). I like the sound though.

    No Free flow

You increase air , then you raise compression, give it more fuel, put bigger props on it to go faster, change ride plates to get more top speed.

Ok, now we have Nascar motors and we are going to put the stock exhaust on ?

I will race you any time and any where and watch you blow your ski up trying to run with us over a 6 hour run.

You will have 30 rpms more on the top after we drive by you and away.

While you are detonating with the stock sound suppression in.

Let me tell you here in tampa if you do not have a hole shot you will get your a$$ handed to you. Ive seen ski's running 78 mph loose to ski's running 72 and 73 mph you will not catch someone in a 1/8 of a mile if he hole shots you by 4 ski's. So i say free flow in and also a 1200 grate in, And your engine will thank you for that free flow.

If you are into radar racing and GPS racing then keep the sound SS. If you are into drag racing others then without a doubt go FF.
