My wifes boss has recently bought this used ski and they are asking me what the cap between the two seats is for and I dont know. I can e-mail a picture to someone that knows about these ski's if you like.
It looks like a hose hookup. thanks in advance

That is where you hook up the flush kit to run clean water through your motor. #28 in the parts fiche is the adapter you need for your garden hose, It screws on your hose then plugs into #27 which is what you see capped in the ski.

    Thanks!
is this just for flushing debris or can it be used to run the ski while out of water for cooling purposes while trouble shooting?

exactly it used to run the ski out of water. however there is a right and wrong way to use it.
Always start ski first then turn water on, then turn water off then turn ski off. Never have the water on when the ski is not running, it can back up through your exhaust pipe and fill water into your motor.

That is your fuel selector switch. The switches on my ski's, are very hard to turn. You might use a shop rag to protect the plastic knob and use a pair of pliers to free it up.
