This was a common problem on the X models, due the the boost being made by the chargers, especially if you chop the throttle quickly. Could be a similar issue with your ski. Most change the hose clamps for an uprated / stronger type, to stop this happening. I certainly did and it hasn`t happened to me since.

I just replaced my clamps with slightly broader ones than the stock ones that came on the ski. Still stainless steel but a bit wider and still a worn type drive. Got then from an automotive online dealer here in the uk. There actually made for silicone hoses not rubber.

Some of the guys on here have been using T-Bolt clamps.

Do an advanced search for, Supercharger hose clamps...you should get some info regarding these clamps and where to get then, if that`s the way you want to go.

The Stainless Steel clamp that i am using has a size range from 70 to 90 mm. Im not exactly sure what size the T-Bolt clamp will be but it will be somewhere within this range. Its an 08 T-X i have with an external IC, so it should be similar in size.

    Hope this helps!
