Which is a better hull?? RXP or RXP-X
Ok so Im lookin to buy a pre owned ski but whatever I get I plan to do alot of stuff to. I would like to build a ski that runs 80-85mph. Which is the better one to mod and why? Thanks

From my understanding the RXP is best to mod for top speeds due to the pump overstuff problems of the RXP-X. Maybe there is a way to fix this issue on the X model now??

80 to 85 you are going to upgrade everything that comes on a x boat anyway... and then there is the overstuff issue..i would just buy a p
a rxp is good to 92 as i understand ..havent gotten there yet myself..

So if both boats have equal mods done the RXP will have a faster Top speed but the X will have better acceleration?? I've heard this before but just cuirous where it came from? I know the X has a bigger opening but if you have the pressure relief valves to take care of overstuff why would it still be slower if the hulls are the same otherwise?

because the pumpchanell at the RXP (215) is smaller! the bigger tunnel give a better acceleration...
