    Has anyone done this?

Scratched the bottom of there ski, and coated it with a truck bed liner? I think it would make the bottom durable. I like to pull it up on sandy beaches. I kinda hurts to see it get all scratched up.

I'm sure it might slow you down since the bedliner stuff is rough.
however they sell some strips for watercraft for this reason, in different colors
my friend has one on his honda, and its about 6 or 7 inches wide.
seems to work well, its pretty thick also maybe about 1/2 inch

Where would I find these strips for the watercraft? That sounds like what I need.

It's hard to get most keel guards to stick to the complex shapes on the bow of many PWCs these days.

I had the bed-liner thing done to a couple of old Sea Doos a long time ago. It lasted just fine for 7 years. When it started to finally come off, it darn near flipped me.

It took the guy who put it on a few tries to get it to stick, the gelcoat wasn't easy to stick it to.
