New Motor 2000 Polaris pro 1200
Hey guys apparently i need a new motor go figure we have found these 2
anyone know if it is the same motor as the pro 1200 year 2000
or will i just run into more problems if i purchase.
I would like to buy one today problem is im not 100% conviced they will work. and my other option is to ship it out somewhere to be rebuilt for 1400... with the shipping
could i just remove the DI heads and use my originals?
My ski is not Fuel injected.

The $299 one ends in 5 hrs. try to get that one. Worst case you have to move your jugs and heads onto that crank case. Best case, you just have to move your heads

has the same jugs, have to swap domes, head covers and attaching bolts, but may not have pulse fittings

Something is shady about this bid...
when you bid on it the My maximum bid is 2900$ without the option to change...

personally i like the 299.99 one, great price.i know the msx version 1200 doesn't have the pulse fittings or even plugs to remove so the can be added.this 1200 isn't an msx version and has the same jugs as your pro1200,basically the same motor except the heads(which you've got those)so the real question is,does that motor have 2 brass plugs screwed into the cases that can be removed and your fittings installed.last i looked my pro 1200 pulse fittings are pressed in,so i'm pretty sure that ebay motor for 299.99 doesn't have anything there and 2 holes would have to be drilled and 2 fittings pressed in.i added a third to my pro and didn't split the cases.just removed the jug and reinstalled.the other motor at 1250.00 is a drop in but pricey

this whole business of drilling and pressing seems a bit outta my knowledge i dont know....
i would hate to win this bid and not be able to use engine.
