    Need help impeller too tight!!!!!

Swapped the wear ring using the freezer method, no problem had to tap in the new wear ring. Also had to tap in the new impeller as I found out this may be a mistake. I now cannot turn the impeller in the housing. Do I have the wrong impeller or ring or both?? What might to loosen it up. Tried installing and starting the ski but too tight.

It is an 06 rxp and i put in a solas impeller.
    Thanks

was it an OEM or aftermarket wear ring? I have had trouble getting the SBT rings to spin smooth after install. Try mounting the pump in a vice, and using the impeller tool to spin the impeller (with a wrench). This should shave enough for you to be able to start the ski. Good luck, hope this helps!

Do not know if what kind of ring did not get from dealer. Tried that still too tight. Just thought of putting back in freezer will see in morning if not will have to cut out to get impeller out.

If your impeller didn't turn in the wear ring manually... you installed it & started the ski... good bye to that new wear ring
