Quick oil change question
I just finished changing to oil in my 08 rxp and while trying to get the cap off to get to the oil filter I broke the small top O-ring on the cap. The larger bottom ring is fine but I want to know if it would be ok to run the ski over the weekend without the top ring or do I need to get one and replace it ASAP? I am leaving for the beach on Thursday. Also is there a special tool made to remove to filter cap? Any help you be greatly appreciate.

Top ring is worthless and useless ... as long as the bottom ring is good, you will be fine, I have run without a top ring for years.

Done three oil changes and have always been able to work the cap side to side by hand and get it off. Make sure you don't overtighten it.

Use a paint can opener to work around and loosen it up
