    Needle valve arm spring question

We were going through the carbs on the two skis I just bought, first ski great with about 12 psi of pop-off pressure the second one hit 20psi well the spring on that was silver abs the first ones were tan so my question is what is the stock spring rate on a 94 sl 750 I'm ordering from Atlantic jet sports and it's like 65 80 95 115 gram springs sooo please help out so I can get these ordered.

I think your ski should have 2.0 needles in it. The POlaris manual has a spec of 12-18PSI for pop-off pressure. The Mikuni SBN manual has a chart showing a 2.0 needle and 65 gram spring combination will give you 18PSI pop-off.
On my '94 SL750 I put new needles and seats in the carbs along with a genuine Mikuni rebuild kit. Using the short, gold springs included in the Mikuni kit I got exactly 18PSI on all three carbs.

Slipknot, Get the 65 gram springs.

KJ, gold??? Are you sure they weren't silver?

Gold use to be the 115 gram. Then they switched to a bright silver.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the shorter springs were gold in the kit and the longer, stiffer springs were silver. I've slept a couple of times in the last week, so I may be backwards on that. But, the combination of the short springs (which ever color they were) and the 2.0 needles gave me 18PSI on each carb.

Mikuni manual lists gold as being 115 gram spring.

The small silver ones (65 gram) and your 2.0 N/S will give you around 18 pop off.
