    99 XPL upgrade question

Iím interested in upgrading my xp unlimited, nothing major, reliability is my main concern but better acceleration would be sweet. Iíve checked throughout the forums and gathered a lot of info and perhaps some conflicting items. Iím a bit confused and I just want an opinion/little clarification on what Iíve gathered so far. If you think it will make me feel better then do lie! ?

I see the most popular upgrade is to install Prok flame arrestors with outwears. I see there are jet kits out there to match the new arrestors and some jet specs here. Anyone know what jet specs I should use that they feel comfortable with? And how big of a difference do they see in their ski?

I was thinking about the Solas Concord 15/20 but from what Iíve seen it may be too tall for a stock setup + Proks. Correct? Would adding an aftermarket head + proks allow me to install the concord? And how much of a diff. would I see with the whole setup? TIA!!

you will need to rejet to 85pilots and 167 mains.
leave everything else stock, the accelerator pump must be anebled for this set up.

the stock prop works best for top speed but it will need to be repitched 1 degree out.
dont blow your money on the concord, if you really want to modify go with a 97 XP rideplate,
also fill the rideplate holes in with JB waterweld.
also check your wear ring. and carbon seal.
I recently worked on a guys GSX-L and just added the Pro-k and re jets and rebuilt the carbs and
replaced the fuel lines and he hits 65MPH GPS all day, I need to tweek his impeller for more speed but
that ski flies on a full tank!

I got my jets from this guys, Niche Supply, you wont find any cheaper prices, they are great!
and they ship fast, 1-800-875-2748, they know what real customer service is.
i spent about $14 for all my jets, thats delivered to my door.

Thanks for the consolidation of info, much appreciated! With the carb rebuild, did you use the stock spring (65g I think) and stock popoff pressure of 21 psi? I should have noted that I'm more interested in acceleration then top speed, I'm guessing that to use the concord (which may make a big difference in acceleration?) I would need to change to an aftermarket head.
