Can an 07 Fuel Pump be replaced by an 08 RXP-X fuel pump?
I tried searching but this new version of the message board is a big down grade in terms of functionality. When I searched for fuel pump I kept getting crap for yamahas and kawasaki's... couldn't figure out how to only search the seadoo sub-forums.
I have an 07 Speedster which I believe has the same fuel pump as an RXP. I was wondering if I could replace my entire fuel pump assembly with one out of an 08 RXP-X. The part #'s on both are different and they look different as well. Is it possbile?

No they are different in terms of how they attach to the gas tank and also the connecters.

just curious as to why you would want to change ??? If you feel you need more fuel then simply add the Walboro. The way I understand it is the X-ECU gives the fuel pump more voltage. to increase the flow.

The reason why I want to change it is because I've swapped to an X-ECU and am getting an error code:
P0463 - Fuel level sensor circuit shorted to 12V or open circuit
was thinking the X-ECU was looking for an X-Fuel pump and was hoping that by swapping fuel pumps would clear the code.
