Hello, on this slt I am fixing, the pistons that are in it now must be after market. The used one I got has a pionter (triangle) on one side. Does this piont towards the intake side or the exhust side? or does it matter? Any help would be very thankful

Just make sure you don't put them in with the arrows facing the PTO like someone did on my wife's ski before we bought it. Of course, if they hadn't done that then I guess the ski wouldn't have broken a piston and I wouldn't have gotten it so cheap!!! If they are backwards the end gaps of the rings pass through the exhaust port and can catch resulting in busted pistons. Typically the arrows face forward towards the MAG end of the engine.

I'm glad you did ask the question. I'm wondering if that is what caused my piston to go...and why I got my ski so cheap too.
