    Any Guitar Players here?

I like to play guitar but sometimes when I see guys like this I just want to throw my guitar away.

So if Steve calls asking about a colaboration with you, we can tell Him...?
Listen to His classical solo technique on You Tube. He is versatile.
    Enjoy,

    Mark Knoeffler

Not my favorite style either, I am mostly into the Blues. But he can sure play and I have seen him (Steve Morse) live with the Dixie Dregs a couple of times. He is amazing.

Maybe this is more your speed

( i couldnt help posting that link. I found it on the Gibson myspace page.)

I only dabble with a cheap acoustic/elec.I suck, but I pick it up every once in awhile waiting for my epiphany.Does it ever materialize guys?
At any rate,I feel compelled to tell you about a guy out of Austin Texas rated one of the top (if not THE top) acoustic players in the US.He literally drops peoples jaws when they see him perform. The things he can make an old Ibanez a/e do is nothing short of amazing.Do not pass up an opportunity to see this guy live,he will blow you away.Picture Mark Knopfler,Stevie Ray Vaughn, and Lindsey Buckingham all rolled up into one guy,and THIS is that guy. http://www.montemontgomery.com/index.htm

I don't play but I was a band tech for a few years.
I still think the best total package player is Eddie Van Halen.

Check again Jack....he makes his Ibanez a/e sound electric, its amazing what he can do.I have some mp3's of his live performances that you will not believe is coming from one acoustic guitar. He does two melodies at once, throws bass notes in,harmonics, neck bends, slides, taps,he is a freak of nature I'm tellin ya.PM me with your email,I'll send you a lil sample or two.
