    does the throttle body rotor come off?

    hey guys, my throttle body spring has jumped track or something and i cant seem to get this rotor off. is it supposed to come off or do i have to remove the butterfly or something?

    Do u mean the black plastic cam thingy, where the cable hooks to? Should come off when the nut is removed. The plate has to come out to remove the shaft to access the bearings.

    mines stuck on there. i got it working without removing it though. i was tapping it with a brass punch and everything.. no budge.
