    advantage of 2piece driveshaft.??

what is the advantage.. and why would you use one...i know yamaha has them oem

i see shock to the drive shaft..the rubber crush drive like a motorcycle would soften things..

do they not use the carbon seal anymore..?? looks like a berring like the scat seal that needs to be greased...

The rotax 1 comes with a bearing seal, Possibly you can lift the engine out without removing the pump and rear part of the driveshaft.

I think most aof the gain is in lessening the shock to the motor from coming unhooked ect ect.

i was thinking that ...and alignment issues wouldnt be as critical....do they they have any..seal failers..like the scat or rad?? ..other berring seals that replaces th carbon seal.. seems it would be a better set up..
