would running a magmum pump help...they come in 159 and 162??
i assume you can get prop for them ...
everything on pumps is so vague.. t
hey don't really say what the fit ect...
rotax is allways vague..but so is scat and solas..i guess we are supposed to be psycic

Yeah mate this is a topic that doesnt really get alot of feedback as people are quiet about their pump setups etc.
Im running a 16/24 Solas 4 blade at the moment and a 80mm venturi nozzle and a pump cone and its way too small.
Im going to get it welded up to 162mm and get my pump machined in the next month or so and will let you know.
Most people i have talked to say it drops the revs 4-500 RPM at the same nozzle size and drops between 1-2 mph but they say also say hook up and acceleration is 100x better.
If i could get my speed my back and gain alot better acceleration and hookup and then put in some more boost i would be happy.

the other side of it is rec riders (myself as well) dont usually go into the pumps...so only a few even have any expierience..to share..
just getting to the upper end on power..without going turbo ..not that that isnt possibly in the future..and i know the pumps are very inefficiant..so there should be gains to be had there... i just dont really know enough about them..other than they are expensive..
i am assuming you 16 24 solas 4 blade is..custom bent not from solas

At what speeds are you running out of prop? I just recently tested a 162mm pump and it definitly loaded the motor harder. Holeshot was much better. I am doing prototype testing for a prop manufacturer right now I'll fill you in more tomorrow.

just seems the only way to get the speed is to turn more rpm....with the props currently avalible...and pump prop is all about fixing that
pm me about what you are doing...
