03's never ran washers on the s/c are you holding the throttle open when cranking as that kills the spark (drown mode) otherwise check fuses and plugs at mpem this supplys power to coils
Double check the plug where pick up coil plugs into loom (next to ecu)

your the first person to tell me 03 had no washers.riva says they did.when i checked the sc the washers were gone.thats why i pulled the engine and checked.washers in now so will it hurt the sc.i had unpluged fuel pump and thats why i had no spark.as soon as i pluged it in got good spark.put plugs back in and its all good now.thanks for reply

did you replace the shaft to a newer style that runs washers? The 03 didnt have them and when you lost boost were the sides if the gear badly worn? if yes this is because it was a steel on steel clutch as oposed to ceramic/steel washers.
when you add a shaft with washers the shaft is slightly longer and the kit comes with 3 small washers that need to go between the s/c housing and the block to space it out again. If you dont use these the nut on the s/c shaft will grind into the block
