    Overheat...

Was just out and had the overheat light come on and the ski shut down. No codes and only got a little coolant in the over flow tube. Checked the strainer and it was plunged up bad with weeds. Could this cause an overheat like this?

At idel no water was coming out of the pisser. After it shut down opened the seat for couple mins then fired it up and ran it at WOT for 5 min all the way back and it was fine but didn't clean the strainer til I got back. Overheat shut I was only runnin 5-6rpm.

Just keep an eye on it. Exhaust overheat and engine overheat are different animals since your are closed loop.

That was your problem..Nothing weird about it..Once you clog the strainer you shut down the cooling to the IC and exhaust..Just imagine if you didnt have a strainer on there,Were would all that shit have gone???right through your IC clogging it to the point of being no good

    update!!!

Ever since this happend i seem to be going through quite a bit of oil. Just did an oil change. Was half way when i had it running on the hose. Then hit the lake checked again and it was just over the top mark so sucked some out till half way. Idle back out the channel ripped around for a min checked again and seemed fine. used less then a tank and just when to the garage checked it cold and was half way. Hooked it to the hose for 2min then checked it and just under the first line

    Heres what I know.....

    -No Oil in the coolant

-Contents in the Catch can havent changed, Just has a little bit of gas oil with
    almost no oil mixed in..

-No smoke coming out of the exhuast when running on the trailer with no hose.

-Pulled the plugs they look the same as always (gold copper kinda colour to them)

-No oil in the intake pipes or cooler.

No Compression test yet but will do one maybe this weekend...
