    Rude exhaust tip..

    Which size hole saw are u guys using? 2-3/4 ? Thanks.

    yes the tubing is 2.75..yo may need to open it up just a little using a rotary file...

    I used a 2-7/8 and still had to shave it out a hair.....you want it snug though..

    It's definitely NOT a 2-7/8. My mounting holes now have to open up to the center hole . I wish the unit at least came with a recommended hole saw size from the online store.

    mine did the same thing, but thats what it took to get the rude tip in...I used the riva template but I believe the rude tip is slightly larger......btw I've been running this for about 10-12hrs with no leaks...just put a small bead of "right stuff" on the gasket where it contacts the hull to ensure a good seal....

    Yeah that's what I'm planning on doing, sealing everything up with the gasket maker. I'm not sure how you had to shave out anymore of the center hole though, with the 2-7/8 its like throwing a hot dog down a hallway.

    maybe mine was jacked up somehow from maker ..yeah getting the flare on the rude tip through the hole is what I had trouble with....once that part made it through it did have a little play in it....sorry if thats caused you trouble

    Its not a problem man. I should have taken my micrometer and measured the piping myself. Its a bummer cause it caused some extra problems and more time but you live and learn.
