2002 gtx 4tec no electrical power

im helping a buddy out with his 2002 gtx 4tec. the ski is in new condition. he put the key in this time and no beep, no gauge, no nothing. i dont have a manual on me to check the wiring schematic but i think its the starter relay. its the big relay that the 1st year 4tec had. i have swapped dess posts, keys, mpem's and ecu's. none of them did anything. battery is 12.8v and has good ground. curious if you think on this model relay, if it failed, can it block the whole system from electrical power?

most likely is a fuse, I had the same propblem. it was a hidden fuse inside the electrical box,

what hidden fuse are you talking about? i have the 2 fuse boxes on the mpem, in which all are good. and i have the fuse in the starter relay, which is good. if you know of another please tell me where it is. thanks

the one i know thats easy to miss is the one on the starting relay. maybe you got a bad ground?

try pulling on the red wires from the battery cable at the solenoid, ive had a few corroded there, if so they will pull out, even run a wire from battery to the solenoid

well, I figured it out. after swapping starter relays, dess posts, keys, mpem's, ecu's and inspecting the harness. The battery was new, and at 12.8v. however, the battery was faulty. that stupid thing kicked my butt. oh well, at least it's fixed. Gotta hate when something so simple turns so complicated. thanks for the help guys.
