    Polaris SL750 runs GREAT!

Thanks to Greenhulk for all of the help--you guys are great! I've learned a ton over the past few weeks from reading all the posts and responses. Got my ski back from the shop, new plugs, carbs adjusted, fuel pump and cooling system leak repaired, new driveshaft and seal, water leak repaired, three lake tests and new grips.

Took it out this morning, and it ran like a dream--beautiful day, too. Hope you all get to head out today as well.

Also, for future, here's all the stuff about me:

    From Tallahassee FL
    750 SL
    Blue Fuji
    MFD doesn't work
Sat for six months before I bought it
My mechanic had to use some Tigershark parts for repairs
    Originally bought in Dothan, AL
Ski has been in salt, but I'm not going to do it
Price was $1000 with trailer (new lights and winch)
Live right across the street from Lake Jackson
120 across all three, just adjusted as well
    Definitely runs GREAT. Today anyway.
Will post a pic pr two in attachments.
    Mechanical knowledge--not much. I'm a professional musician.
    Few tools

    HAPPY FOURTH!

    Welcome to the Hulk jparks.

Glad to see it's running good for you.

Nice to read something positive once in a while.....

Only time anyone posts is because they have a problem.

Thanks for sharing and enjoy the ride.

Another great ride this morning--thanks again for all the advice!

xlint89, K447, and bowsniper, any additional hints on keeping it running well? Greasing driveshaft bearings every 3 rides, using Amsoil 50:1 and an ethanol treatment (and 93 octane gas), checking after rides that engine hasn't heated up too much by dripping some droplets on it to see if they sizzle, checking grate after rides, turning off fuel line after rides, taking it easy the first five minutes of the ride, etc.?

I grease the thru hull seal every ride.

No need to use 93 octane unless you have high compression heads. 89 octane would be fine.

I like to inspect my piston wash after every ride too. You can catch an issue before it becomes one.

Also fog your engine if it's going to sit unused for more than 3 days.
