2007 KAWASAKI JET SKI® ULTRA® 250X MAKES WEST COAST DEBUT
IRVINE, Calif. (October 3, 2006) – The all-new 2007 Kawasaki JET SKI® Ultra® 250X, the most powerful production personal watercraft (PWC), will make its debut October 5 - 8, 2006 at the 37th Annual International Sail and Power Boat Show in Long Beach, Calif.
Consumers will have their first glimpse of the Ultra 250X’s revolutionary hull and huge supercharger, as they pass through the Long Beach Convention Center’s main entrance. Those seeking a closer look will find two more display units at the Hahm Motorsports booth, once they enter the show floor.
The Ultra 250X is powered by a supercharged and intercooled version of the 1,498cc marine engine from Kawasaki’s astounding JET SKI STX®-15F watercraft. Producing 250 horsepower (equivalent to a normally aspirated high-performance three-litre engine, the Ultra 250X boasts significantly more muscle than any other PWC on the water. This results in a strong yet smooth power delivery which is ideal for a personal watercraft that needs to accelerate hard all the way from a standstill through its top-end speed. This stunning acceleration is augmented by a huge 155mm jet pump featuring the largest PWC impeller and nozzle Kawasaki has ever produced.
“The JET SKI Ultra 250X really is the ultimate personal watercraft,” said Croft Long, Kawasaki product manager. “From horsepower to handling and everything in between, this new JET SKI model offers performance and excitement that is unmatched by any other watercraft on the market.”
The International Sail and Power Boat Show is the West Coast's largest in-water and indoor boat show featuring hundreds of motoryachts, cruisers, sailboats, fishing boats, performance sportboats, family trailerables, ski boats, pontoons, inflatables and personal watercraft.
Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. (KMC) markets and distributes Kawasaki motorcycles, ATVs, personal watercraft and utility vehicles through a network of more than 1,500 independent retailers, with an additional 7,700 retailers specializing in power products and general purpose engines. KMC and its affiliates employ nearly 2,400 people in the United States, with 400 of them located at the Irvine, California headquarters.
Kawasaki’s tagline, “Let the good times roll.™”, is recognized worldwide and the brand has become synonymous with powerful, stylish motorcycles for over four decades. I'll be at BiketoberFest this month. I vaguely remember either Kawi or Yammi had a lone ski on display last year. And 2 years ago Pro-charger had Kawasaki PWC there too.
10-04-2006, 02:57 PM #7Just received confirmation from Scott, the Ultra WILL be at Havasu for a look-see. Bring your camera.
I leave tomarrow morning to go to the WF, and now my excitement will only be half.

Cant imagine too many of these boats being out yet. I would also think that if Kawi was showing it there that would have announced it as they did for a boat show..... Just a thought, hope Im proved wrong.
