    wrong set up? poor top end numbers

    i have an 03 gpr i was reading another members post and he was hitting 71.1 with his 03 with almost the same mods http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/show...iva+controller

    here is my set up
    Motor
    R&D Power Plenum
    MSD wires
    D plate
    Free Flow
    hot rods crank
    Pro X pistons matched to cylinders my millennium tech
    Shaved head 150 PSI

    Hull
    tunnel reinforcement
    stock sponsons
    riva ride plate
    R&D extended Trim tabs not cut
    riva tabs cut "not installed"
    Worx Intake Grate
    Concord 13/19
    Nujet 6.5 "not installed"

    pre-mix 37:1

    ECU controller on way to fix 4000-5000 bog


    and i'm hitting 63-64.3
    66.2 with seat off

    i got beat my a 05 Honda turbo with a boost controller and my gas light was screaming

    there is something wrong with my setup, just what?

    Also, with a 1300 and 150 compression you should be able to run a taller impeller (i.e. 14/20). This should give you more speed.

    Also the only 2 mods I see that will give you an increase in speed- R&D filter, and riva plate.

    Like the others said....the other mods slow you down.

    i was mistaken its a Skat trak swirl and i cant remember the pitch the RPM's are 7250

    I also noticed that the pump shoe it not centered with the pump it’s off by 1/4 maybe 1/2 inch. Also do the 03’s have wear rings because i don’t have one at all?

    I'm sure it has a wear ring in it... The swirl props are usually 2-3mph slower top speed.

    Sounds good. Maybe keep your 85mm nozzle...just have to test it. On my ski the 85mm nozzle is almost 1mph faster and only drops rpm by about 20-30rpm.

    You could put stock tabs back on or the riva cut ones. Also the sound suppression would be faster.
