    prop wrench

Here is a peek at the prop wrench I made today. The fzr's are very hard to remove the hole the drive shaft holder tool for the gpr....I got tired of my crecent wrench slipping off the skat tool so I made my own...enjoy
prop..this wrench will fit the skat trak prop (1 ") and will also fit the gpr shaft tool

Nice job ! I guess you took a 6 point socket and cut it off and welded it to your bar is that correct? I like making my own specialty tools too. Tommy Jordan

Yes , that is correct , I could not find a 6 point wrench that was long enough for leverage....I cut socket in half and faced it off in the lathe , I then put the bar in the mill to shape it , tig until done, serve warm to your favorite fzr. The handle can be any pipe , I knurled this one for better grip ( the zoo will not send over their gorilla to help)

I know this is an old thread, but I'm trying to make my own skat tool. The soft metal ones they provide are garbage, so I'm going to machine my own.

Can someone tell me what size the outer hex is? Or the size of the socket will do too.

    Thanks!
