    intake grate and rideplate fitment questions

    on my sho with riva intake grate and modded stock plate i notice the intake grate sits alittle lower in the back and the rideplate sits up higher in the front its not much but does this scrub speed?in order to get the most speed does everything need to be flush?i will post pics when i can thanks

    This is the way it's supposed to be. It's the same way on the FZR's.
    I have tried machining my grate to make it flush and actually lost speed.

    So it will only take two washers to fix it then.
