Disconnecting fuel tank straps
Wondering if anyone had any pointers on taking these off? I just finished installing my intake and these suckers were tough to get off. After getting half of them I just decided to leave them on and route the Kanaflex around the stock box. Maybe using a set of pliers on the straps would help? I was just using my hands to undo them, didnt think about the pliers until I had it all back together. Any tips would be appreciated.

I just use a pair of pliers just like you said.... DaveC's screwdriver tool works great on the water box where you cannot access the strap clips very well but i found that the pliers work just fine on the tank...you mention that you may route your intake around the stock box... i didn't have enough room to do that, I had to remove my stock box to stuff in the hose.

Got home from work last night and went to tinkering away on the ski. The pliers worked great, I wish I would of thought of that when I originally started. Ill have to remember that screwdriver trick over the winter when I change out my waterbox. Thanks guys.
