Can multiple ECU's be activated for the same boat?

    Quick questions.

I recently had a new ECU activated and a seperate key paired to it. I wanted to do some testing and needed to hook my old ECU up to the boat. I plugged the old ECU in and using the old key the boat wouldn't start and got an error code saying wrong ECU detected.

Can I have multiple ECU's activated on the same boat. each ECU has its own DESS key.

When activating the new ECU the dealer must of wiped out the old ECU association.

Is it possible to have both activated at the same time?

I'm not sure if it's any different on speedsters but I purchased an Aftermarket ECU, plugged it in and it worked, Then I plugged my stock ECU back in and that worked as-well. This was on a 2006 RXP.

i'm pretty sure it should work too... there's no good reason why it shouldn't...

my dealer is 3/4 retarded so thats probably the reason why.

i had the same issue when i activated my riva ecu, then tried to run my stock ecu untill i got a few other things worked out. my dealer ( who has a tech who actually pretty good) said the dash and ecu have to be linked/written whatever you wanna call it with buds, together or you'll get that "ecu doesn't recognize dash" code popping up
