    Water leak at Exhaust outlet

Hey guys, Had my 97 GTX in the water all weekend. Yesterday went to ride and hull had lots of water in it. Never happened before. Pulled ski out to investigate. everything worked, no water in the electrical box. The exhaust outlet seemed to be loose so after draining put it back in the water to see if I could find leak. It seemed to be from around the exhaust outlet. from parts diagram it appears that this fitting is threaded??? thru the hull. Can it be tightened? or replacement needed. Appreciate any advise. Thanks

Ok , if anyone is interested . The large "nut" on the inside of the exhaust bulkhead fitting had broken in two and allowed the exhaust flange to leak in water. I was able to repair by putting a hose clamp around it. My starter was under water. Should I do anything with the starter or will it dry out and be OK. Thanks for any advise.
