Pump Removal/Steering Rod
Hi guys, im in the process of removing my pump to get the prop off to send it off and have it repitched, but I can't seem to figure out how to get the steering rod off. I have the bottom bolt and washer off, but it seems like the top washer is glued to the nozzle or something, is this normal? If so how do I get it off? I read Cajuns how-to page on it, and it says nothing about it being glued or anything, just says to take it off

The post is threaded into the nozzle with a jamb nut on the bottom.

The "bolt" is a specialized threaded post. Look at where the post comes in contact with the ear on the nozzle and you will notice that it is notched to accept a 10mm open ended wrench, or you can look on top of the post where it will take a 5mm Allen wrench. Either way, it will unscrew off.
