Oil Ratio Question Normal Over Synthetic 2 Stroke Oil
Guy silly question hopefully someone can set me straight
Like to know when mixing a full synthetic at 40:1 like AMSOIL Intercepter or Mixing Normal 2 stroke oil like YAMALUBE at 40:1 is the same ratio for some reason i am thinking that the synthetic will be richer if that makes sense being a synthetic oil.
When mixing a oil ratio no matter what blend you use is the same ration for all blends i hope this makes sense.

What may be confuseing is lubricating qualities.
Amsoil would suggest to you that because its lubricating qualities are so much better than semisythetics that you could actually run at a ratio of (for instance 75:1) and have the same protection of a semisynthetic running at 40:1. For me, oil is cheap. If I can run 40:1 and have BETTER protection then a semisynthetic, then that is what I will do.
