    prop tuning

My 05 RXP with the last mods I did is now turning 8600 rpm's. I have a 82mm ring and a 15/20 prop. I'm a little hesitant on bending the prop is there someone in central Florida that has done this. If so would you be willing to show me exactly what I have to do to dial it in. I know I should be around 8150 rpm's which is where it was. Just not sure looking at the thread on how to do it.

What ecu do you have? You wont see 8600 on a stocker so I assume you have an aftermarket ecu in wich case depending on the ecu 8600 may be right on the money.

My ski is a stage 3 with a few other extras. I thought the best rpm for the ski is around 8150. If the motor is turning faster the prop needs tweaked to bring the rpm down which will give it more speed. It is a riva ecu.

Riva stage 3 is perfect at 8550-8600 rpms. There would be no point in having an aftermarket ecu if you were going to only turn 8150.
