    Trued and welded

I keep seeing this term in the forum.
    What does it mean?
I thought all cranks were welded? Are they bolted or something?

Cranks are only "press fit" from the factory. That means that only friction is holding them together. Small welds are placed where the sections go together to ensure they don't slip apart.
