any homework on intercooler pipes???
just seeing if anyone is willing to share their finding with intercooler pipes.. about to make some aluminum ones.. my question is about sizing
do i run:
2.75 IN TO COOLER AND 2.75 OUT TO MANIFOLD
3.0 IN TO COOLER AND 3.0 OUT TO MANIFOLD OR
3.0 IN TO COOLER AND 2.75 OUT TO MANIFOLD
just curious if anyone has tested already .. if not i might try them all out and let you know my findings..

How much boost are you thinking about running ? I always thought it made little difference. You should look @ the piping on X ski's. Even relocating and moving the i/c on those has very little benefit.

In the turbo car world it seems acceptable to run 2" to 2-1/2" pipes up to 600hp to maintain velocity. I've been using 2-1/2 with no problems.
On the other hand the pipes are so short I doubt there would be much of a difference going to 3".
Just my 2cents.
