1200 non sparking problem
Guys bare with me here i have not seen this problem i am simply trying to help out another skier and pick your brains..
after replacing the bendix (thought issue of non starting problem) the guy took his 1200 gpr out for water test and it cut the spark 50 yards out and water test over
now back on dry land the gpr refuses to start and i have given him a few things to try over the phone and this is what he has come back with..
the skis has no spark
i asked him to check the earth strap from mag cover bolts and he assure me its ok,
asked him to ohm out the water temp sensor with no results in at moment
i also told him to switch out to stock ECU rather than advent, no luck here either
he has fuel in cylinders and keeps comming back to the no spark problem
any ideas please just shoot then up and i will collect a few and pass them on..
Edit...just informed the ski backfires now when trying to start...
im thinking the VF11's are going bad...but this does not tie in with the spark problem,

How can it back fire if it does not have spark?

Posible stator pickup is going bad or the flywheel has sheered the woodruff key, could have cracked at the hub to alter timing?
