    How should top of cylinders look?

    I was changing my plugs and looked inside the tiny hole and the top of the cylinder looks black? Is that right?

    Is taking the engine cover off to look at the whole picture easy?

    it is normal. Be worried if the piston looks steam cleaned.

    Look up the term "GOLLYWOG!" The cyls should be black, it's the best.
