World finals drag racing
I just heard from don that dan is in second place with his rxp running drag racing from bouy to bouy and time not side by side Dan ran an 8.5 and change. But there is a 15f that went 6.6 and change 2 seconds faster Congrats on the numbers dan

the 6 second time is a Les Cook ski I think...

It was just time trials today...The real deal is either tomorrow or Sunday...
I have seen Dan's ski off the line...It SPINS the prop HARD!!

Sorry about the misinformation Forrest the other ski is an Sea Doo. I haven't heard if any of the 15f's are runnig the drags or not.

Les Cooke from Australia currently in first with a 6.85. Second is OKeefe with a 8.44

Jim's XPL with just a coffman pipe, stock carbs, and a home ported
951 engine took 3rd. It think he was 9.6 sconds. Guess who got 4th?
The one and only Pimpnxp on his XPL Miller big bore stroker setup.
Over the phone he said he had some tunning issues, I guess
he doesn't need to come to Mud Bug running like that.

nope...but it would be nice to drag Les to mudbug...Although I would'nt be suprised if one of his set-ups show up...

What is the distance? 1/8th mile? How many folks competed? Did Joe?

I would really like to see some video of the drag races. I hope someone is recording it.
