Speed Freaks nose cone
I was looking in the store and saw Jerry has Speed Freaks nose cone, how effective is that? I'm getting ready to swap out the Skat 3 blade for a 15/22 on the 06 and was thinking if its worth it, why not?

I have one also. Havent installed it. So I dont know about the gains. Seems like a quality piece.

I've run mine for the past 6 hours. I like it better than the stock or the solas cone. It's worth it.

I don't know if it helps cavitation or top speed ... it just feels better, and seems to be well designed. I like it, and would buy it again - if that helps.

I have one and not sure if it helps in performance in anyway at all, but it is by far the
better nose cone. You can see how it fits snug on the shaft and has a better contour then the rest.

I got 1 some time ago after reading claims of +0.1/0.2mph on this forum, why not for 30 bucks...
very nice looking piece indeed, but my mechanic refused to install it, saying there are no o-rings inside like the solas,
and therefore i would get rust and possibly prop seized on shaft over time.
Good for a race ski, but not worth the trouble for a rec ski when you are not swapping props so often.
Stay with the solas, it will make my life easier he said, so i did just that
