Oil change help!!
I have an '06 F12X and was evacuating the oil today. Got a whole 1.5 qt. out. Replaced with 4.5 before I realized my oil evacuator was @ only 1.5 qt. full. So I evacuated again and only got 4.5 out.
No way I was running that low on oil. How do you make sure you've got ALL of the oil outta this thing. I changed filter too as I am changing to synth. This is why I am trying to make sure I got all out as don't want to mix with Dino oil.

It is funny, i am a yamaha guy now but when on GH, i spend all my time in the Honda section. Go figure. my f-12x will always have a special place in my heart.

Yes on the aquatrax it has 2 places to check the oil level. There is one under the turbo in the back of the engine. You use your front dipstick to check it down there also.

There is two places to pump out the oil from. One in the front and the other is in the rear on the left hand side. Be careful and don't drop the plug cause it's a pain to find.

I got it guys. Thanks for all the help and advice. That rear sucka is not in the manual is it? That bugar is hidden. Anyways I got all the oil out and replaced with full synth.
Going to the river/lake this weekend and it was time to change the oil and now it is time to go have some fun.
Thanks again guys.

Drill a hole in it and attach a cord. That way you wont lose it.
