    Speed test results.

OK, my mods so far:-c1-11 wheel, intercooler spacer with extra cooling line, riva ff exhaust, inlet manifold upgrade, free flow air filter, foam inserts removed, riva blow off vale, boost port adaptor fitted, pump seal kit, intake grate, skat 13/23 prop, r&d ride plate shimmed at rear with one large washer.home made sponsons too.

SO the results, air 80 f, water 65 f, 280 feet above sea level, 200 lbs, fresh water, 3/4 tank, trim down one, 78 mph. 7700 rpm's AND NOT ONE BIT OF ANTI CAVITATION WITH MY NEW SKAT PROP. .
IM WELL HAPPY WITH MY SET UP...

Thats what i thought , with the old solas i got 72.6 but lots of cavitation. had it machined away from the pump . bad move but got 69.7, still cavitating. the r&d ride plate has definately loosened up the handling too can feel a real difference to the nose weight.

I would be interested in knowing how you are getting 78mph @7,700 rpm with a C1 wheel (< 10psi boost), Stock I/C and Stock ECU

We read the speed from the speedo, i know a lot will say it is not accurate but when we tested using a radar gun which is exact at 69.7 speedo read 69 and at 72.6 speedo read 73 so it appears to be very accurate on my ski. a friend has a tuned rxpx which has been redared at 76 and he could not keep up with me. he wants to sell it now. i told him yamaha in japanese means never goes wrong . lmao. he was not amused.

The speedo might of been close with the stock plate but it will be way off with the r&d plate, Put a gps on it and you will see the difference.
